Fazelli Farms
Brand

Project Overview

Client: Fazelli Farms Inc.

My Role: Visual Designer / Creative Director

Duration: 1 Month

Deliverables: Branding, Illustration, Internal Communications, Web Design, and Print Design and Production.

The Objective

To translate the complex, organic science of mushroom cultivation into a premium, consumer-facing brand identity. The goal was to bridge the gap between the hidden, "underground" world of fungal biology and the sophisticated, high-end culinary experience of the modern kitchen. By synthesizing Fazelli Farms’ technical expertise with an approachable aesthetic, I aimed to transform a raw agricultural product into a curated lifestyle brand.

Background and Problem

Mushroom farming occupies a unique space: it is simultaneously high-tech laboratory work and ancient, earthy biology. Fazelli Farms possessed a wealth of specialized knowledge and sustainable practices, but their existing brand identity felt fragmented—leaning too heavily into "rustic" farm tropes that failed to communicate the precision and quality of their gourmet yields. The challenge lay in curating the dense "hidden" life of mycelium—its growth cycles, ecological benefits, and diverse varieties—into a cohesive visual story that resonated with both professional chefs and health-conscious home cooks.

The Solution

I developed a "Symbiotic Identity" system that brought the invisible world of the farm to the forefront. By blending minimalist, scientific typography with fluid, organic textures, I created a visual language that mirrors the structure of fungi itself. This narrative was applied across a multi-layered brand experience, including:

  • Specimen-Grade Packaging: Using sustainable materials and "field-guide" style labels to highlight the unique anatomy of each mushroom variety.

  • Digital Education: A streamlined storytelling platform that demystifies the growing process.

  • Physical Touchpoints: A cohesive brand presence for farmers' markets and wholesale, positioning Fazelli Farms as a premium authority in the "fungicultural" space.
